The ASD Australian Labradoodle is a special and unique breed which has been developed over 2 decades. It is a blend of 3-6 pedigrees NOT simply a lab x poodle hybrid.
A Labrador x Poodle ONLY hybrid is Labradoodle Origin (LO) and is the starting point for an Australian Labradoodle. The other breeds need to be added as well - read the section on ASD history and download our pdf document below for details of the breed infusions.

Labradoodle Origin imported from Australia is still a lab x poodle hybrid.
A 3+ breed labradoodle born in the UK is still an Australian Labradoodle.
"ASD Australian Labradoodle" is a term used to describe australian labradoodles from the co-founder lines (Rutland Manor and Tegan Park)
